Passport to Wine
Each ‘Passport to Wine’ event will explore a new country’s wine and food culture. Our Guest Chefs and our team of Wine Experts will delight you with their creations! These ‘Passport to Wine’ tasting evenings are fun and informative and are a great way to expand your wine knowledge, complete with your very own Passport! Each evening you join us, you will receive a stamp in your Passport. As our very own frequent flyer program, attend 3 Passport events by November 13th 2010, and you will receive a complimentary Eisch Breathable Bordeaux wine glass ($29.99 value). Our Weekday ‘Passport to Wine’ tastings are held in our exclusive second floor Tuscan Room & Terrace and is not wheelchair accessible. Our Saturday ‘Passport to Wine’ tastings are held in our main floor retail space among over 20,000 bottles of wine and is wheelchair accessible. Luxury TastingOnce a month our wine experts open the doors of our Specialties cabinets as we explore some of Banville & Jones exclusive treasures. Each evening will include an in-depth wine presentation by either Gary Hewitt (Certified Wine Educator and Sommelier Instructor), Sylvia Jansen (Certified Specialist of Wine and Sommelier), or Darren Raeside (Sommelier). The wines presented will be of exceptional quality and will be considered amongst the best in the world. The tasting will include 6-8 wines. Each evening is limited to 16 guests.

Tasting on the Terrace ~ OR ~ Wine & Cheese
Wine & Cheese pairs some of our favourite wines with a selection of Bothwell cheeses. Taste how wonderful these two fantastic delights work magic together. Held in our Tuscan Room 7-9pm (fall/winter/spring months) These 2 events are a great way to ask questions about wine and to enjoy a variety of wines that will hopefully become some of your new favourites. Please note: ***Tickets are non-refundable but are exchangeable up to 14 days prior to the event.*** When reserving one of your Tasting Event evenings with a Banville & Jones Gift Card, we require the card be brought in or mailed in to confirm the reservation. Travel the world with Banville & Jones’ international wine and food pairing evenings – ‘Passport to Wine’!
Our demonstrative Cooking & Wine Tasting classes are held upstairs in the Tuscan
Room with some of Winnipeg's finest Chef's. These evenings are a great way to learn
cooking and wine pairing techniques from experts in the culinary field. The fee is
$89.99/person which includes exclusive wine pairings, gourmet food tastings with recipes, and
a Banville & Jones apron for you to take home (a $15.00 value)! Cooking Classes
usually run from 7:00 p.m.- 9:30 p.m.
Tasting on the Terrace celebrates summer in Manitoba. Join us on our beautiful Tuscan terrace for a wonderful summer
evening of wine tasting! Sip on some of Banville & Jones' favourite wines with a selection of Bothwell cheeses.! Tasting on the Terrace will run
rain or shine - in case of rain, the event will be held indoors in the Tuscan Room 7-9pm (summer months)
